It’s actually about Bush Turkeys.
The Australian Bush Turkey (Alectura Lathami) lays eggs in a large mound of mulch. When the chicks hatch they have to dig themselves out and then fend for themselves. This initial struggle is essential in building the chick’s strength so that it can survive.
Most people don’t like Bush Turkeys because they destroy gardens in order to build their nests. But I like them. Just look how adorable the baby ones are!
